Established in 2007, Zhongjie International Economic Park (ZIEP) is now a focal point for investment in China. As one of China's top three economic development regions, it is located at the geographic heart of the Bohai Bay, one of the largest engines for China's GDP growth after Shanghai and Guangdong.
While considered a strategic priority by national authorities, ZIEP benefits from a unique and unmatched policy environment towards foreign investment, in addition to its ideal location close to Beijing and Tianjin.
Its 268 km2 territory is predominantly composed of non-agricultural land ready for both industrial and commercial development and is connected by an advanced network of infrastructure, services and leisure facilities.
As such, the Park is already host to hundreds of major companies from across sectors, including manufacturing, chemical, high tech and renewable energy, and across markets, notably, Japan, Republic of Korea, Germany, UK, France, Poland and the Czech Republic.
